What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a treatment modality that focuses on mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Chiropractic is most often used to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, such as back and neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.  The most common therapeutic procedure is “spinal manipulation,” also called “chiropractic adjustment.” The purpose of manipulation is to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints. Manipulation or adjustment of the affected joint and tissues helps to restore mobility and reduce pain and muscle tightness.  Chiropractic adjustment is one element of our treatment plan; effective treatment typically requires addressing soft tissue conditions as well.

what is Fascial Manipulation?

Fascial Manipulation is a soft-tissue therapeutic procedure developed in Europe to treat painful or limited movement caused by adhesions (scar tissue) of the deep fascia. Fascia is a web-like connective tissue structure that wraps and penetrates muscles as well as surrounding organs. Problems in the fascia can produce pain far from the center of the adhesion itself. Diagnosis of fascial dysfunction is made in part by analyzing how a patient’s pain is affected by specific movements. By precisely identifying root causes of pain and manipulating the fascia, we can reduce or eliminate pain and restore full range of movement.

what is Active Release Technique?

Active Release Technique is a soft-tissue therapy we use to treat certain cases showing problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. It differs from Fascial Manipulation in that the treatment itself is administered directly to the affected muscles and tendons while they are taken through a specific range of motion involving both contraction and extension of muscles.

what is nutritional healing?

Nutritional healing is an approach to healing our bodies through an anti-inflammatory eating lifestyle. By implementing simple guidelines, this approach lessens inflammation in our bodies improving general health and chronic diseases. In addition, it promotes quicker recovery from sports injuries getting you back to your sport faster.
